I wanted to welcome you to my blog on where can I buy a kindle.  I started this website  to share the knowledge that I had gained on the electronic e-book reader called the amazon kindle.

I had been looking for wireless device that I could use read ebooks, magazines, blogs newspaper and kindle device does all that. I compared its characteristics of the barnes and noble nook and I knew right away that the amazon product would give me more bang for my buck.  A huge benefit that the kindle has over others ebook readers is that it has amazing contrast.

It is slightly confusing when you are trying to be pay one fast. I thought that maybe I could buy a used kindle on ebay, but I wanted the newest features such as the free 3G internet and web browser in the newest model of kindle, the kindle 3.

I was becoming desperate to buy one and to pay it fast, so I went right to the source which is amazon.  I was so glad that I took that route because of the free shipping and the great guarantee that my kindle has.  I knew that I needed one right away because I was about to go on trip and I needed a free way to check my email and my facebook account. The new browser in the kindle allows you to surf for free if you get the 3G internet version.  Also, of course, I like the ability to download new novels from anywhere instead of waiting to be connected to a wifi spot.

Where Can I Buy A Kindle – What the Purchase is Like

I actually thought that my best bet was to get one in a store, but I preferred a black model and I read in a electronics forum that if you buy it online that the service is better and that delivery is excellent.  I ordered on a Monday and on Wednesday, the mailman was knocking at my door with  a small package from Amazon !!!!  I was amazed at how simple it is to use and how well packaged it was even though it is such a slim ebook reader.  I am so glad that I did not buy my kindle in some dusty store that sells them without even being able to answer any of my technological questions.  One place that I went to beforehand was not able to tell me how long the warranty was for, he told me that I will probably find out more in the box.

I was super excited once I had my kindle in my hands and right away I started to read the quick start guide to jump right in.  I had already had a bunch of books that I had bought for my kindle application on my iphone and they were automatically already there since you provide your buyer amazon information when you make the purchase.  In other words, the most logical way to buy a kindle is through amazon.

I have purchased a lot of gadgets and this one is one of favorites. I use on plane flights, at the restaurant and when waiting in line at places like the bank. It gives me a chance to read a lot more than I did before, plus I do not have to carry around a bulky novel in my knapsack like I used to do.  The pricing on the ebooks is less than you pay for paperback copies even if they are on the best sellers list.  I guess that you could say that my kindle has changed the way that I educate myself and my eyes never get strained by a computer screen or the resolution on an iphone when reading the latest business bestsellers that I love to read.

I started to use my kindle the moment that I took it out of the packaging.  It says that you need to charge it at first, but mine was at the half way mark for the battery and I was able to use it right away.  The browser is actually not well advertised as a feature, but I like it. It allows me to even send emails via gmail. The keypad is small but if you use it like you would use an iphone, you can type relatively fast with it using just your thumbs.  I do not use it to view image intensive websites because images are in black and white of course.

I played around with it for a few hours and then I had to go to an appointment. I decided to take it with me to test it in a local cafe for after my appointment.  It is very light and you can drink coffee using one hand and read at the same by holding the kindle in the other. Someone noticed that I was typing something into it and they were amazed that the internet connection was free without any monthly charges.

I Was Trying to Buy A Kindle In A Store Which Was The Wrong Approach To Take!

I also had gone into a store that use to buy computer components and the salesman guided me to the tiny section of ebook readers. There was a few different to pick from, I think that they were the kobo model and the sony ebook reader, but no kindle. I checked the specs and they did not have a browser in the features.  I kind of liked the kobo model, but I decided at that point to check online to see how to purchase a kindle because I wanted more functions.

The amazing aspect was actually the price. The other models were more expensive, but with less functions. So, it was a no-brainer, I had to go for the purchase of the sleek kindle. I know that some people feel that the extra functions that the kindle has are not necessary, but when you are a gadget addict like myself, you need to give your electronic fix from time to time:)

Nevetheless, you need to buy it yourself so that you understand exactly why a kindle is a great device to have.

I know that my review on the kindle will help you to decide if you need a kindle, and I hope that it ends up being one of your favorite gadgets because of the power of such a skinny device.  The best advice that I can give you to go for it and you will love it. Give a kindle a try.
